1. Agreement to these Terms

By accessing or using Maison d’Élan, creating an account, completing a quiz, purchasing a digital edit, or using our shopping links, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

If you are not legally able to enter into a binding agreement where you live, a parent, guardian, or other legally authorized adult must act on your behalf for any purchase.

2. What Maison d’Élan provides

Maison d’Élan is a digital fashion and accessories platform offering style quizzes, personalized digital edits, fit-aware guidance, curated product discovery, saved preferences, and links to third-party retailers. Recommendations are informational and personalized to the data available to Maison at the time they are generated.

Your results may evolve when you retake a quiz, update your profile, love/save/pass on products, change your preferences, or when Maison updates its catalog and recommendation systems.

3. Accounts and accurate information

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for information submitted through your account. You agree not to impersonate another person, interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, scrape the catalog, or use the service for fraudulent or unlawful purposes.

Testimonials must reflect a genuine experience and may not include unlawful, harassing, infringing, deceptive, or knowingly false content. By checking the testimonial publication consent, you grant Maison d’Élan permission to display the testimonial using either the public display name you chose or “Anonymous” when you selected anonymous posting. Testimonials are moderated before publication, and Maison may decline or remove a submission. Maison will not publish the private email field as part of a testimonial.

5. Payments and access

Payments are processed by Stripe or another payment provider identified at checkout. Maison does not receive or store your complete payment-card number. A successful payment grants the purchaser access to the digital product associated with that purchase, subject to these Terms.

We may modify the presentation, features, catalog sources, recommendation logic, or content of a digital edit over time. A one-time purchase does not guarantee that every individual feature, product, retailer, price, or catalog item will remain unchanged forever.

6. Fit, style and shopping guidance

Style and fit recommendations are guidance, not guarantees. Sizing varies across brands and garments, retailer information may change, and digital recommendations cannot replace trying on an item or reviewing a retailer’s current size chart and product details. Height, weight, and body measurements you voluntarily provide are used as fit inputs, but they cannot guarantee a particular size or garment outcome. Weight is not used as medical or health guidance and does not determine what styles Maison considers appropriate for you. Maison does not guarantee that a recommended item will fit, remain in stock, match a retailer photograph exactly in person, or suit every customer’s subjective taste.

7. Third-party retailers

When you leave Maison d’Élan to shop with a retailer, your transaction is with that retailer, not Maison d’Élan. The retailer controls price, inventory, shipping, returns, exchanges, warranties, taxes, product descriptions, and fulfillment. Maison is not responsible for a third party’s acts, omissions, policies, product quality, or website availability.

8. Affiliate relationships and sponsored content

Some links may be affiliate links, meaning Maison may earn a commission if you make a qualifying purchase. Affiliate compensation does not increase your price through Maison. Sponsored or paid placements will be identified when applicable. See our Affiliate Disclosure for more information.

9. Intellectual property and product-development feedback

Maison d’Élan’s branding, quizzes, archetype system, written content, digital-edit structure, graphics, proprietary curation, software, and original editorial materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Your purchase grants personal access to the relevant digital product; it does not transfer ownership or permit resale, republication, commercial copying, automated extraction, or creation of derivative commercial products.

If you voluntarily submit ideas, preferences, feature requests, accessory concepts, or other product-development feedback through The Maison Lab, you give Maison permission to use that feedback for research, design, sourcing, prototyping, product development, and related business decisions. A submission does not create a promise that Maison will develop the idea, provide compensation, attribution, exclusivity, or a future product. This permission does not give Maison ownership of unrelated intellectual property you already own outside the submitted feedback.

10. Availability and changes

We work to keep the service available and accurate, but uninterrupted access is not guaranteed. We may update, suspend, replace, or discontinue parts of the service when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, maintenance, retailer changes, or product development.

11. Disclaimer and limitation

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Maison d’Élan is provided on an “as available” basis without guarantees that every recommendation or third-party listing will be error-free. Maison is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of third-party products or retailers. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for fraud, chargeback abuse, unauthorized redistribution, security threats, harassment, unlawful conduct, or material violation of these Terms. Legitimate consumer rights relating to completed purchases remain subject to applicable law.

13. Updates to these Terms

We may revise these Terms as Maison evolves. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are made. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.
